My Schoolhouse

So this is a picture of the first school house in my town.  It is exactly the same as it was when it was in use. Can anyone say Little House On The Prairie? So it was hard to see inside because the windows reflect the outside which makes for a cool picture but hard to see inside. It is maintained by the people in that live around it and it is so beautiful. Sometimes I wish life was simple like this.  There is an old farm house across the street that I alwasy wanted to buy, since I was about 21. Now it has been to let go to bring back which saddens me.

It really does look like its right out of the
past. It is in pristine condition.

Ok so here is he house that I
always dreamed of having with a farm too.
As you can see it is severely in need of love now

andI do not think  it can make a comeback.
I wish I could fix it up though.

Looks like the fireplace is collapsed so sad.

Goodbye Day Middle School Students and Staff

I wish I could stay and I've met amazing students and friends along the way.  Unfortunately, though it's time for me to go. I will definitely miss the amazing students doing great work.  I have felt welcomed by my colleagues I had the pleasure of working with and could only hope to work in such a lovely school community again.

Fall Art Projects

Well- here they are, some of the interesting art we have been doing this fall.

Marvin Bartel's Art Rubric

Marvin Bartel's Art Rubric : Rubrics make assessing students' work efficient, consistent, objective, and faster. Teachers evaluating an assignment will know implicitly what makes that assignment excellent, mediocre, or in need of improvement. Rubrics take the guesswork and subjectivity out of the assessment.
