My friend Genevieve recently open a fabric and knitting store in Jamaica Plain. What A great new addition to the local businesses! Its a beautiful space and if you are in JP you crafty people should check it out. She carries my favorite fabric designer which you will see in the next post. Goodbye Day Middle School Students and Staff

I wish I could stay and I've met amazing students and friends along the way. Unfortunately, though it's time for me to go. I will definitely miss the amazing students doing great work. I have felt welcomed by my colleagues I had the pleasure of working with and could only hope to work in such a lovely school community again.

Welcome Parents Dear Curley Families, Welcome back to school! I hope everyone had a great summer vacation and is ready for a fantastic school year. I am looking forward to a year filled with creativity, exploration and exciting art! This year we are planning some interesting activities and projects in the Visual Arts Program. Along with practicing our basic skills with a variety of different two and three dimensional materials and techniques, students will learn about famous artist and the elements and principles of art and design. In addition Fine Art students in 6th, 7th and 8th grades will have the option of selecting visual art courses as an area of concentration for their electives, attending art class two days a week.
